BEHIND THE SEWING MACHINES
We’re My Glasin and Linda Askestad, the designers and creators behind Myli Festival Wear, an Australian festival & rave fashion label that calls Bondi Beach home. Two best friends with a passion for festival fashion and sewing - we create festival wear designed to empower women to feel confident and beautiful.
Our story began when we moved to Sydney from Scandinavia and fell in love with the Australian festival scene. We started making our own festival outfits, and when we wore our handmade creations to Pitch Music & Arts Festival in 2022, we were overwhelmed by the compliments we received. It was such a special feeling getting compliments for something we've made ourselves.
That’s how Myli was born! Originally launched as a rental brand in 2022, we quickly saw the love and demand for our designs. So, we launched our online store and now proudly serving customers in Australia, the USA, and the UK. Our mission is to create festival wear that not only looks incredible but also makes women feel confident and unique.

As an independent, slow fashion brand, we prioritise sustainability with a made-to-order approach. Every piece is hand-sewn by us, making your piece extra unique. This not only minimises excess stock and fabric waste but also means your future piece is being made just for you.
A TWO-WOMAN BRAND
Myli is a two-woman brand: from designing and fabric sourcing, marketing, social media, content shoots, sewing each order, and everything in between- so please be patient with us whilst we're making all your orders.
